The first Amazon Fulfillment and Facilitation Center (AFFC) will be started in Multan after Eid-ul-Azha (21st July). This AFFC has aim to introduce a variety of products and market of Pakistan in worldwide with made in Pakistan signature, said Post Master General (PMG), Zulfiqar Husnain.

PMG also said that the government is doing great effort in order to get Pakistani products in Amazon access. Similarly, Pakistan post was working hard to achieve the target.

PMG Zulfiqar further told us that most of the work has been completed on the AFFC at the general post office, Dera Adda and it will start working after Eid-ul-Azha.

In Addition, an Amazon warehouse will also be established here. Well, Govt. is also trying to establish Amazon centers and Amazon warehouses in Bahawalpur and other districts of South Punjab.

Multan’s officials were in contact with Multan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) to ensure that handmade products of South Punjab become an identity of Pakistan on Amazon portal and ensure that local exporters, industrialists and traders also avail the world’s largest online retail platform after registration

In Earlier, Amazon had added Pakistan to its approved seller list in May this year. But before it, Pakistani companies had to register their offices outside the country.
