LAHORE: The Punjab government has taken an extraordinary unusual step to launch a Rescue Air Ambulance Service in the PUNJAB province. The CM of Punjab, Usman Buzdar has given the order for completion of all matters to launch this 1122 heli ambulance Service as soon as possible. Buzdar said, the start of the Air Ambulance will add the more values in rescue services. Punjab would be the first province in the Pakistan region which would launch Air Ambulance. He said every human life is so precious and timely treatment is a prime need of the time. He said the Punjab government had taken revolutionary steps to further improve the rescue services in Punjab.
CM Punjab Usman Buzdar gave this news while presiding over the passing out ceremony of 393 rescuers of KPK province and 73 rescue workers of Koh-e-Suleman area of Dera Ghazi Khan at the Emergency Services Academy (ESA), Thokhar Niaz Beg.
In the occasion, the CM said “Punjab will be the first province to start Rescue 1122 Air Ambulance service”. The government also expanded the rescue services to 86 tehsils while Bikes ambulance services was extended to 27 districts.
CM Usman Buzdar appreciate the more than 20,000 rescuers of Punjab and other federating units. These rescuers had completed their training from the academy with the honor.
