President of Pakistan, Dr Arif Alvi is now officially part of the TikTok family. TikTok is generating popularity rapidly with the short-form videos. The President of Pakistan believes that TikTok spreading the positivity and inspiring content for the youth of Pakistan.
Recently, The President of Pakistan tweeted a video message. In which President Dr Arif Alvi announced that he has made an account on TikTok.
“To spread the message of positivity & motivation for the youth of Pakistan, we will keep pushing inspiring videos for the TikTok users,” he stated.
In the past TikTok has had a very unsettled relationship with the Pakistan judiciary. Because there are lots of unlawful and immoral content are on TikTok.
Earlier this same month, the Sindh High Court had also suspended TikTok over immoral content that was circulated in the country. But later this order was reversed. When TikTok gave assurance that they would closely monitor irrelevant content and remove such content that against Pakistani society.
During the hearing of this case, the Pakistani Govt lawyer said that the Peshawar High Court earlier also banned the TikTok, due to some videos that was uploaded on the platform are “against the teachings of Islam.”
Later PTA requested the court to review its decision and allow it to restore the app’s services in the Pakistan. Then the ban was lifted. PTA had assured the Sindh High Court that it would speed up the process on the petitioner’s request.
