Hong Kong (CNN Business) :- Recently Xiaomi has surpassed Apple to become the world’s second-biggest smartphone maker company for the first time, according to market research firm Canalys.

According to global analytics Canalys, smartphone demand remains hot across the board amid pandemic-driven work-from-home trends that consumers all over the world have grown accustomed to.

As demand is increasing, competition is also growing among tech companies. Samsung is on the position No.1 has the percentage 19%. Similarly, Xiaomi is on the 2nd position has the percentage 17%. Apple is on the 3rd position has 14% shares in Worldwide preliminary smartphone shipments. On last Oppo and Vivo have 10% shares.

In Q2 Xiaomi grew 83% Worldwide to have the strong impact in Mobile Market. If this level of growth continues to evolve, the China-based tech giant Xiaomi may soon take the place of Samsung like it did with Apple. And maybe it will become the world’s biggest smartphone vendor before the end of this year.

Well, Xiaomi needs to work on its marketing. MI fails in marketing if comparison with fellow Chinese companies Oppo and Vivo. These companies have never shied away from spending big for marketing their products. But Xiaomi might not even get to spend tons on its marketing, as its phones are cheaper and offer better hardware than the above-mentioned manufacturers.
